I stepped out of my Aston Martin, locked it and quickly walked into the Beaumont Mall with my two friends Neko Dark Fate and Alix Death Storm. Now to introduce myself; I was born and raised in New York, New York and have been in Texas for about four years now. I live in Newton and I moved there when I was twelve. I met Neko and Alix at Newton Middle school in seventh grade and we have been the best of friends ever sense. Neko is sixteen along with Alix and I. Now I am just going to get this out of the way as well; Neko has waist long white hair with black tips, pale skin, crimson eyes, is 5’8, and she is a fallen angel and Neko hybrid. Alix has white hair with black streaks that comes a little past her shoulders, one of her eyes is green and the other blue, she is slightly tanned, is 5’7, and she is a half dragon Demon half Angel. I have knee length ash blonde hair with dark purple streaks and black tips, my eyes are violet, I have pale skin, am 5’6, and I am a Cat Demon eagle hybrid. With that said let’s get to the rest.
“So…Where to first?” I asked glancing around at the food court.
“Food?” Neko said pleadingly. I laughed and Alix shrugged. “What is so funny? It’s not like we get to drive out to the mall all the time.”
“M’kay, I’m getting…A slice of pizza.” I called over my shoulder while heading over to the pizza place.
“I want pizza!” Neko and Alix said in sync as they followed me to the stand. I glanced around for a while after we sat down to eat and finally let my eyes land on my phone. I sighed as I quickly texted my Master, Demon Hawk, to say that I was at the mall. And by Master I mean the guy I am contracted with, he was the one who I had a…how could I put this? He was my butler when I was human and in return when I was thirteen he got my soul and to turn me into a demon. I turned thirteen on October, thirty-first, 1305 A.D. .
“So where to now?” I asked as we walked out of the food court.
“Hottopic? Spencers?” Alix and Neko said and I nodded, somehow knowing they were going to say that. Of course a thousand dollars and about over a hundred bags being delivered to the house we shared later…
“Ready to go?” I asked and they nodded. The ride home was interesting, and I mean there was a whole bunch of girls dancing to no music on the street, a guy yelling the word hot pockets out of a van, and an electric wheelchair fight.  This looks quite hard seeing as the wheelchairs only go up to about two miles an hour. I unlocked the door as my current butler, Riku, brought the stuff in and placed them in the appropriate rooms.
“So, what now?” Alix asked and I laughed; the same thing happened every day. I was the one who would walk around the house aimlessly, Alix was the one to ask what to do, and Neko was the one to suggest something. Riku normally just hung out with us and made sure we didn’t get arrested, again. Nothing changes, at least for a while.
“Well I say we don’t go anywhere and hang in our true forms. While talking about random things of course.” I said with a shrug while letting my true form come out with a grin. My midnight wings snapped out as my skin became paler, my normally purple eyes change to crimson, and the contract mark between Riku and I glowed slightly. Neko shook out her grey wings as her eyes changed to a deep blue, her hair changed to a dark grey, her ears and tail popped out, and she suddenly had a depressing aura around her.  Then was Alix, the most unique one of us, the line of good and evil. Slowly her different wings stretched out, the right one being a black leathery wing, the left a pure white feathery one. Her left eye changed to a crimson like my own and her right one became an almost slivery blue. Her hair stayed the same though. We looked at each other with a small smile as we took in all of our forms, not one of us is the same in our true forms. All of us may be almost exactly alike in some things, but in other things…Let’s just say sometimes it makes us leave for a while. Not together, but individual. I normally leave after fights, any fight between us; it could even be between Alix and Neko. I love fights, but not between us.
“Neko stop petting my wings!” Alix yelled angrily and I laughed as she then smacked the cat girl away. Neko hissed at her and went over to the couch to pout.
“I do not pout!” She grumbled as I sat next to her. I flipped the T.V. on and almost died at what I saw. On the screen was Alix’s father, the Devil himself, in his true form saying what he was. Hell (No pun intended) he was even with Alix’s mom, the top angel or something like that, who was also in her godly form.

“WHAT THE HELL!?” Alix screamed as she saw this. I froze as they suddenly went to their human form. I didn’t catch the rest, I ran out of the house with Riku next to me. This was bad. Alix didn’t even show any trait of a demon or angel in her human form neither did Neko. I on the other hand did, my mark on my neck (Thankfully it looks like a tattoo), my eyes, and lastly how I act.
“Hazel Star Ride!” They yelled while chasing after me. I shot into the air with a quick upward motion of my wings. I beat my wings faster as they followed me up in the air. I cannot have my secret blown, over six thousand years of keeping it. Blown by Alix’s father. I stopped suddenly causing them to almost crash into me.
“It’s your father’s fault Demons and angels are now known to the world!” I screamed as-
“MS.RIDE! WAKE UP!” Someone yelled as something was smacked against my desk.
“I PLEAD THE FIFTH!” I cried jolting up only to notice I was in Mr. Clark’s math class. The class laughed at me while I sighed in relief. Only a dream… I thought as Mr. Clark slammed a detention slip on my desk.
“Sign.” Was all he said before shoving a pen in my hands. I looked at it and then back to him confused.
“I don’t feel like detention today…so you’re going to have to forge my signature James.” I said as I kicked my feet onto my desk.
“Office, now!”  He yelled as his wrinkled face turned red in anger. I then decided to be annoying-more so than I was being- and stayed seated. As you can tell I also hate this class.
“I don’t feel like it right now…Maybe in an hour.” I yawned as I propped myself on the balls of my feet and hugged my knees.

“Haze-San, Ish-Kun! We need to go!” Riku yelled from the door of the class with Alix and Neko beside him. I jumped over the desk as my twin, Ish Ride, got up normally from three rows away and felt his way to me. Once he found me he slung an arm around my shoulders.
“Thank you Riku!” We both breathed as we got into the limo. He nodded and smiled at us before telling the driver where to go. I was shocked when he said Houston Hobby Airport.
“Wh-why are we going to the airport?!” I cried in shock and everybody but Ish looked guilty.
“Young Mistress, Lucifer has found your location again. I just found out an hour and a half ago.” Riku said bowing his head in shame. I sighed and watched as we passed houses until we stopped at a Victorian style house.
“Ish?” I squeaked as he opened the door, he looked back at me with regret in his non-seeing violet eyes.
“I’m sorry Haze…I have to stay with Demon…” He muttered and I pushed past him and to my original master. I smacked him across the face and gave him a good knee to the groin when he tried to explain.
“How…How dare you keep him as your OWN?” I screamed as I noticed the black and red clover on both of their left hands. It was a mark between love, commitment, something Ish and I swore to never do.
“I love him. It’s like how you love Indigo.” He said once he recovered from the pain. Wait, Indigo? His bastard of a brother?
“I never loved that cheating bastard!” I yelled and turned to my blind other half. “And you lied to me; you promised you would never do this!” I screamed as I shoved him to the ground. I stormed back to the limo and angrily shouted at the driver to step on it.
“Haze-San, we’re at the airport.” Riku said as he held the door open. I grumbled, got out, and let my body take its natural slightly crouched position. I looked at the airport and smiled softly, I loved traveling. Nothing will stop my fun, not even my bastard of a twin. Riku went to get our boarding passes while we waited by baggage check.
“First class, gate sixteen, to Tokyo, Japan.  It leaves in four hours.” Riku smiled at us as he told us our seats. We went through baggage check and Alix and I were stopped for our weapons.
“Do you have permits for the knives and guns to be in your carry on?” The security guard asked us with a glare.
“Yeah here.” I grumbled while pulling out a few pieces of paper from my pocket and handing them over.  The guard looked suspicious but handed the papers back and motioned for the baggage check people to pass the luggage through. I pulled my laptop out of its case and sat down in a nearby bar and grill.
“A Vodka over here!” I shouted over the crowd. The bartender grinned at me and held his hand out. I shoved a fake I.D and some cash into his hand before holding my hand out for the drink. He handed it over and gave me my I.D back.
“So what’s a nice little thing like you sitting’ here all alone?” He asked and leaned closer to my face.
“Oh just waiting for some sleazy perverted bartender to try to hit on me.” I said with sarcasm lacing my voice. He frowned but moved onto another girl either way. I pulled up Google Chrome and sipped at my drink slowly. ‘Ignite Lucifer Hawk of the Hawk mansion, Prussia, 1704’ I typed into the search bar and waited for the links to load. Once they did I clicked on the second one.
‘A horrible fire at the Hawk Family mansion in Prussia, suspects are not yet released to the media.  Priest of Hawk Catholic Cathedral, Ryan Hawk, has not been found. Only mother and wife, Lilli Hawk, has been found dead as of this time, 17:07, while her youngest son has not been found.  The younger of the two sons have not been found, only Damian Samuel Hawk of age 15, has been found. Younger, Ignite Lucifer Hawk of age 13, has not been found. He is assumed dead as of now. Right now as I write I can see Damian crossing himself and praying for his brother and father. And I see someone coming out… It is Ignite and Ryan Hawk. Both have third degree burns on their bodies. And as of now, 17:23, Ignite has just been taken from his father by an unknown person or persons. This is a News article by Daniel West.’
I smirked and shook my head. Ignite…Iggy…Indigo Hawk, Demon’s brother, or shall I say Damian’s brother.
“Hey Haze-San. What are you reading?” Riku asked from behind me. I closed the browser and shut my laptop down before turning to him.
“Just about the fire again. I can’t believe that the sweet human Ignite was, is nothing like himself now as Indigo.” I sighed and finished the last of my vodka before standing.
“I’ve told you a thousand and twenty three times now; you couldn’t stop the Vampire who bit him. Naturally he was a Wolf-human hybrid and now he is a Wolf Vampire hybrid. Of course he changed.” Riku said softly and put a hand on my shoulder. I nodded and closed my eyes for a second.
‘Flight forty three to Tokyo, Japan now boarding.’ I slung my bag over my shoulder and began walking to the gate. I stood next to Neko and Alix and waited for them to open the doors.
“Hey…I don’t think any of us know Japanese…” Alix stated and Neko and I face palmed. I pointed to Riku, the Japanese male.
“Alix-San, I’m from Japan.” Riku said slowly as if he were talking to a small child. We were pulled out of our conversation by the ticket lady asking for our boarding passes. We handed them over and were let onto the plane. Goodbye America, hello Japan. The country of Anime, Manga, raw fish, and rice.
So remember how I spoke of a book I was writing? Well here's chapter one!
